Week Two EOC: Boston Consulting Group - Video Games

"Games could aspire to the drama and spectacle of movies but would captivate society with their irresistible interactivity"( http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/07/arts/video-games/video-game-retail-sales-decline-despite-new-hits.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0 )
According to the article in the "The New York Times" on October 3,2012; there were more then 200 million games systems sold worldwide, not every game system just the Wii, Xbox 360, and well the Play Station 3 as well. However, there was another game who didn't sell as much as theses gaming systems did, but they did a fairly good job if I do say so myself. The PC gaming called "World of Warcrafts." With all these million dollar sells, the gaming world seems to be teetering at the edge of a financial cliff. says the reporter Stephen Totilo.
